Since when do GA medals cost more than 8mil!?!? I mean, my lord, they used to be an MC item for 700k. Talk about markup--they only cost $5 in the cash shop. $1=1mil, or at least that's how it's SUPPOSED to be. So how does $5=8.5mil again??

The conversion of SP-USD isn't 'supposed to be' anything. With the downturn in the economy, people are having less money to spend on something like credits on a petsite.

I'm now just gonna point out the obvious, have you seen the worlds economy at the moment? People are spending less money on sites like these, meaning that there are less in circulation, therefore they are going to be more expensive.

If it makes you feel any better, GAs use to be 80k at the most ;D It's a LOT easier to make sP now. I don't think 8mil is a bad price, especially because you're going to make that back pretty quick with the bonus quests and autopricer.

I've been searching for a cheaper GA for ages. I really need one but I don't want to pay 8.5m. I'm scared that once I buy one, they'll just go back down to 6m. D;

8m, even 10m, is cracie, but having a GA means you cAN make more anyway

since they're only available in the cs at the moment, i suppose the price was bound to go up due to the rl economy :x though i do think 8.5 is rather high for a ga.

8.5mil is nuts. And trust me, the RL economy is why I'm forced to spend sP for pixels, not cash. I'd have one every month from the CS if money wasn't so tight in RL. I just wish that there was an easier way to go about it than "omg must make 10mil right away for next month's GA" before being able to even enjoy the perks of having said GA.

It's insane. If I hadn't needed one like, rightthisminute because I forgot that my GA was about to expire, I may have been able to get a good deal from the forums.

Don't buy one if it is too much for you. Maybe they will lower the price in their shops ;o

If you can't make more than 8.5mil in the month, it's not worth it. If you can, that means you're making profit so why complain

I think it is perfectly fine. Besides, the whole "1mil to a dollar" DOES change. And, looking at the gobal economy, it isn't suprising.

i sold all my GAs not too long ago since i have enough CSC to sustain myself for a while. i miss the $1 =1 mil ratio, and i still hate paying over 5.5 mil per 500 credits. but there isnt much we can do about it. so im just hoping the ratio goes back down before i run out... if it ever does go down D:

Then don't buy the GA. Buy the CSC for around 7.5 mill and then get the GA. It's what I did. What my friend did. Besides, if you actually do your quests, you can make it back within a week. I got 15 mill in two days. Granted, I spent it. But still. It's possible. It's not unreasonable. You just have to work for it. God forbid that someone have to work for something. Like the glade potions, how DARE Subeta expect you to try to earn something, right?

I'm not so happy with the csc prices either, especially since last month I was able to purchase a whole bunch at about 6m each.

I don't really understand why you had to have one right this minute though, going a day without a gold account will hardly kill you.

I don't really see why 8.5 mill is so crazy. Real money is tight for a lot of people right now, so why should people spend $5 real money and only get 5 mill fake/pixel money for it?

At least the people spending real money are helping keep the site up and running for everyone to enjoy. You can live without pixel money, but pixel money doesn't pay the bills and feed the family. I think anywhere from 7.5-8.5 mill seems fair.
